Summer Online Course Feedback:

‘A great course that used an online platform really well! Very engaging and a great way to keep discipline and focus in your writing, with high quality feedback from tutor and other students.’

‘Because of my hearing difficulties (especially with peer contributions around a physical table) I found the online course easier to follow and enjoyed the virtual interactions very much.’

THE POETRY MIXER

Mon 3rd June – Mon 8th July 2019, Wantage, OX12 8DA

The group will have a similar format to my previous courses, and will include: reading and discussing poetry; using it as a springboard to spark creative ideas; individual writing time; sharing, support and workshop/feedback time.

I’m envisioning the group will have returning poets who have some experience, but equally there will be support for anyone who is just starting out in writing poetry. All you need is a willingness to write and an open mind!

Cost: £60 whole course

Places are limited, e-mail to book.

Next Monday evening course in Wantage starting Feb 25th, running for 6 weeks until April 1st.

“Elaine Baker is a skilled poet and educator, with much experience of guiding emerging poets to get the best from their writing in a workshop setting. She is generous, sensitive and detailed in her critique of poems, and has a strong knowledge of the contemporary scene and recent critical theory, and an incredible enthusiasm for the poetic art.”
